The National Science Teachers Association highlighted Bear Trust and our collaborators in AK in NSTA Reports and on the NSTA WebNews Digest.

Bear Trust works collaboratively with Alaska Widlife Conservation Center, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, and the University of Alaska Anchorage to bring science-based education rooted in bear research to the students of Alaska.

Workshop activities were based on lessons in Bear Trust’s Curriculum Guide to The Bear Book. Teachers who participated in the workshop will earn continuing education credits. 

This workshop was a collaborative effort by Bear Trust, Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, Alaska Department of Fish and Game, and the University of Alaska Anchorage.
