Bear Trust and our partners successfully completed our first “teach the teacher” workshop in Portage, AK on Nov 11-12, 2011!  

Workshop activities were based on lessons in Bear Trust’s Curriculum Guide to The Bear Book. Teachers who participated in the workshop will earn continuing education credits. 

This workshop was a collaborative effort by Bear Trust, Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, Alaska Department of Fish and Game, and the University of Alaska Anchorage.
