HR Res 69

Brief Summary of HR Res 69

This Congressional action reaffirms that Alaska’s state fish and wildlife agency has authority to manage resident wildlife on National Wildlife Refuges that exist in the state of Alaska.  Federal wildlife agencies may place restrictions on management strategies within any National Wildlife Refuge, but the Alaska’s state wildlife agency retains authority to manage wildlife in Alaska.  This is the same model used in other states throughout the United States of America.
